NCR COMMUNICATION ISSUES
February 1, 2023Nearly everyone I have spoken to is happy to see the back of 2022 and believes that things can only get better in 2023. So will things really get better?
As we have moved into the new year, what has changed?
- Has load shedding come to an end?
- Have all the corrupt politicians been removed from the government?
- Has there been a decrease in crime?
- Has our unemployment rate decreased significantly?
- Has your pay increased in line with inflation?
The sad truth is that none of this has happened and if anything, things are getting tougher.
So, when the time comes and you are no longer able to afford your basic needs what do you do?
- Get a loan?
- Get a consolidation loan?
- Apply for credit cards?
How will any of this help? Think about it, you are already struggling to cope will additional funds with a loan/credit card help? It may be a temporary solution, however, it needs to be repaid with interest.
Before falling into the “debt trap” have a look at other alternatives.
- Draw up a budget for your monthly expenses.
- See if there is anything you can cut back on. (Lift-share, subscription fees, cheaper internet, etc.)
The main reason people fall into the ‘Debt Trap”. This is when they look at taking out a consolidation loan and fail to cancel their credit and store cards and start re-using them until they are maxed out and find themselves in a worse position than when they took out the original consolidation loan.
Debt counseling could be the answer as we will tailor a budget and ensure you pay your debt off at vastly reduced interest rates making sure that not only will you be debt free but also have enough to manage your monthly expenses.
There is a solution. To find out more contact DCASA or a DCASA member and get free no obligation advice. It’s as simple as that.
