DCASA is proud to announce the appointment of the following members to key leadership roles within the National Executive Committee:
President – Casper le Grange
Casper le Grange is a seasoned Debt Counsellor with over 15 years of experience and has been registered with the National Credit Regulator since 2010. As former Eastern Cape Representative, he has played an active role in industry development, including contributions to the Task Team Agreement 2.0. Casper is passionate about collaboration across the debt counselling industry, strengthening professional standards, and promoting consumer financial wellness. He also serves as Chairman of the Salem Baby Care Centre, reflecting his commitment to community upliftment.
Vice President – Drisha Pillay
Drisha Pillay is a registered Debt Counsellor with over 15 years of experience in the financial services and debt counselling industry. She has held senior leadership roles within leading debt counselling firms and currently serves as an industry liaison and NEC member. Drisha is dedicated to advancing professional standards and contributes to national industry development initiatives and training within the sector.
Treasurer – Mauritz van den Heever
Mauritz is a Partner at Leocorp Debt Counsellors in Pretoria and has been a registered Debt Counsellor since 2007. He has served as an active DCASA NEC member since 2012 and brings valuable experience from his previous career in the banking sector.
Vice Treasurer – Advocate Ancil van Heerden
Advocate Ancil van Heerden is an admitted legal practitioner of the High Court of South Africa with extensive expertise in consumer credit law, debt review, and regulatory compliance under the National Credit Act. She is recognised for her contributions to governance, compliance training, and policy development within the credit industry, and is committed to strengthening ethical and professional industry standards.
Tribute to Our Former President
DCASA extends sincere appreciation to our former President Reinhard Pettenburger, who has elected to step down from the NEC after 12 years of dedicated service to the association and the debt review industry.
Beginning as Western Cape Branch Representative and later serving as President, his leadership played a significant role in strengthening industry collaboration, supporting the revival of the Task Team Agreement, and reinforcing DCASA’s position as a respected voice within the credit industry.
We thank him for his commitment, integrity, and lasting contribution to both DCASA and the profession. His legacy will continue to support the growth and sustainability of debt counselling in South Africa.
